## Overview

WolfVision Cynap systems are all-in-one wireless presentation, collaboration, and capture appliances used in classrooms, meeting rooms, lecture halls, and corporate training spaces. Cynap devices combine wireless screen sharing, digital whiteboarding and annotation, multi-platform web conferencing, and AV switching into a single rack-mountable or desktop unit—replacing the multiple individual AV components that traditional room setups require.

Cynap systems are Panopto-certified and function as Panopto remote recorders, capturing multi-source video from room cameras, wireless content, and other inputs and publishing recordings to the Panopto library automatically. Scheduled recording, ad-hoc capture, and remote management are all supported. Multiple simultaneous HD video feeds are captured and synchronized automatically for playback in Panopto’s multi-source video player.

Cynap’s vSolution COMPOSER content manager provides drag-and-drop controls for preparing and presenting multi-source content—including web conferences—which can also be captured as part of the Panopto recording. WolfVision Visualizer document cameras can be integrated alongside Cynap systems to capture physical materials and live demonstrations as part of the same synchronized recording.

Panopto capture agent functionality is a standard feature of the Cynap Pro. For the Cynap Core Pro, capture agent capability is available as an optional Capture Feature Pack.

## Frequently asked questions

How does the WolfVision Cynap Panopto integration work?Cynap systems are configured as Panopto remote recorders, connecting to Panopto over the network to receive recording schedules and publish captured content to the Panopto library automatically when a session ends. Multi-source feeds—room cameras, wireless screen shares, whiteboard content, and other inputs—are captured and synchronized automatically for playback in Panopto’s multi-source video player.

Setup guidance for configuring a WolfVision Cynap device with Panopto is linked in the support documentation on this page.

Which Cynap models support Panopto capture?Panopto capture agent functionality is a standard feature on the Cynap Pro. For the Cynap Core Pro, Panopto capture is available as an optional Capture Feature Pack. Organizations evaluating Cynap hardware for Panopto deployment should confirm which model and feature configuration is appropriate for their use case with WolfVision directly.

Can whiteboard and annotation content be captured as part of a Panopto recording?Yes. Cynap’s built-in digital whiteboard and annotation tools are part of the on-screen content environment, and that content is captured as part of the Panopto recording alongside other video sources. Cynap’s vSolution COMPOSER content manager also supports drag-and-drop preparation and presentation of multi-source content—including web conference feeds—which can be captured in the same recording session.

Can WolfVision capture content across twin display screens?Yes. Cynap supports capture of on-screen content in twin display environments—useful in larger lecture halls and presentation spaces where content is displayed across two screens simultaneously. Both screens’ content can be captured and included in the synchronized Panopto recording.

Can a WolfVision Visualizer be used alongside Cynap for Panopto capture?Yes. A WolfVision Visualizer document camera can be integrated with a Cynap system to capture physical materials—such as printed documents, specimens, or handwritten work—as a live video source alongside the Cynap’s digital content. Both feeds are captured and synchronized in the Panopto recording, giving viewers access to the physical and digital content in the same multi-source player.
